The PSAT/NMSQT will be administered at Livonia Stevenson High School on Thursday, October 15 during the school day for students seeking National Merit Scholarship qualification. Students must score in the top 1% nationally to become National Merit Finalists, and this test is distinct from the free SAT given to all juniors in spring as part of the Michigan Merit Exam. The school also announced an Open House for all families on Tuesday, September 8 from 6:30‑8:00 pm, with a period‑by‑period schedule provided. Regarding senior portraits, Focal Point will no longer provide the school’s senior composite service, and Lifetouch will take over starting with the Class of 2027. Free senior portrait sessions for the Class of 2027 are scheduled for Thursday, August 20 and Friday, August 21 in the PAC Assembly Hall, fulfilling yearbook and composite requirements. A makeup session is set for Wednesday, September 30 for those unable to attend the August dates, and participation is strongly encouraged to maintain graduation traditions.
